Carolina Forensics travels to teach throughout the United States or abroad within the framework of two scenarios (a) I am being paid by a private party to provide training on location, or (b) our participation in a training event is part of our Out Reach Program Carolina Forensics Cares. Such was the case for our recent trip to Central America. We were not paid for this trip. We traveled at our own expense. Our host paid for our hotel. We presented and instructed forensic professionals and students for free. The smiles on their faces when we brought them 21st century technology was worth every penny Carolina Forensics’ spent to travel to Central America; no question. Next year we have the same situation, Carolina Forensics will pay to travel to Nicaragua to bring 21st century technology to Central America again. As always in the face of adversity, strife, and controversy, I will never waiver from my staunch and steadfast position in honest, ethical, fair and impartial treatment for every individual in our extremely broken criminal justice system.
